Books
· The History and Management of the Field Spaniel, by Peggy Grayson. This book is out of print (originally published in 1984) and if you find one, expect to pay a lot for it. However, if you are a serious fancier of the breed, the book is invaluable in tracing the historical development of the breed. · Field Spaniel: A Complete and Reliable Handbook, by Becki Wolkenheim. Yes, this one was authored at Calico—same person, different last name. Originally published in 1997 and out of print, the book is often found on eBay. · Field Spaniel: Comprehensive Owner’s Guide, by Becki Hirschy. Published in 2006, this book may be purchased from Kennel Club Books.
