GIBSON—Calico’s Guitars N’ Cadillacs wins his 3rd point at the Grays Lake Saturday show.

EMMY—Calico’s As Good As It Gets RN TDX, wins another point both days and now lacks just 2 singles to finish!

BRETT—Winters’ MVP At Calico, finishes the last single to  become a bench CHAMPION. A calculation error left him needing a single point to finish so the morale of that story, is always double check the points you think your dog might have!

2/28/& 3/1/2009

GIBSON—Calico’s Guitars N’ Cadillacs wins a total of 4 more points by going Best of Winners at the Wisconsin KC, both shows (2 points per show).  Up to 7 total points now.

BOGEY - Baby Gibson’s dad (CH Wolftree’s One Over Par RN JH) has added COMPANION DOG (CD) to his name with a terrific 2nd place finish in Novice B on Saturday, following it up with a 1st place win and “insurance leg” on Sunday!

EMMY—Calico’s As Good As It Gets RN TDX, went Reserve both days and still needs those last two single points!

4/4 & 4/5/2009

EMMY—Calico’s As Good As It Gets RN TDX, earned 2 points at the FRFSC Supported entry going BOS to become a bench CHAMPION at the Saturday show.

AYLEN—Bruce’s Art of Happiness At Calico earned 1 point at the FRFSC Supported entry going BOS at the Sunday show.

4/18 & 19/2009

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD RE picks up back-to-back firsts in the new Graduate Novice titling class.

FREDDIE– CH Calico’s If Looks Could Kill CD RE picks up a first leg in Graduate Novice with a nice 2nd place finish (a no sit cost him a tie with Ritz for first).

5/1,2,3/2009

FLY—Calico’s Flying High goes Best of Winners at the Badger KC Friday show for 3 points, bringing his total to 11 points with 3 majors.

GIBSON—Calico’s Guitars N’ Cadillacs wins a nice 4 point major at the Badger KC Sunday show to bring his total to 11 points, needing one more major.

5/23/2009

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD GN RE picks up her first Senior Hunter leg at the WATKC test.

5/30-31/2009

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD RE picks up back-to-back firsts to finish the Graduate Novice title; she also goes into Open B once to see how training is going and came out with a terrific 196!.

FREDDIE– CH Calico’s If Looks Could Kill CD RE picks up two legs with a 2nd and 3rd placement to finish the Graduate Novice title.

TAXI—CH Calico’s Running Up The Fare CDX SH RE picks up four first placements to complete the Graduate Open title; in addition, she earned a 197 from Open B for Highest Scoring FS in trial at the supported entry show.

ROXY—Tamarack’s Rock’N Racer earns Reserve at the FSSA supposed entry and the next day picks up a 4 point major at Toledo KC—no we didn’t breed her, but she is “kind of” ours and Kylie handled her to the major.

6/13-14/2009

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD GN RE picks up back-to-back Senior Hunter legs at the SSCA test.

TAXI—CH Calico’s Running Up The Fare CDX SH RE picks up back-to-back Master Hunter legs at the SSCA test.  First time out in Master and two legs earned!

BOGEY - Baby Gibson’s dad (CH Wolftree’s One Over Par RN JH) picks up a Senior Hunter leg to go along with the two he earned in Michigan in mid-May—one more to go for the title!

July 2009

So much has happened, we’ll just do a recap!

AYLEN—Bruce’s Art of Happiness At Calico picked up her final two legs, including a terrific 1st place, to earn the Rally Novice (RN) title!

BOGEY - CH Wolftree’s One Over Par RN SH officially picks up his last leg for the Senior Hunter (SH) title!.  Then at the national specialty show, he picked up his first Graduate Novice leg with a 1st place!

FLY—Calico’s Flying High picks up his first two Companion Dog (CD) legs with back to back first placements, including a HIGH IN TRIAL (197.5 score).

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD GN RE earns another Senior Hunter leg, one more to go for the title.  At the Field Spaniel specialty shows, she then picked up the remaining legs needed for her Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title and repeated her High In Trial at the national specialty with a terrific 197.  Ritz also picked up her first Graduate Open leg with a 1st place.

CC—CH Calico's Undercover Agent OA AXJ AXP AJP has picked up so many titles it is hard to keep track!  Taking a break from burning up the agility rings, CC flew back to Wisconsin and completed her Rally Novice (RN) title with back to back qualifications including a 3rd place at the Field Spaniel specialty shows.

CHLOE—Calico’s First Offense TDX, earned her last leg and the Rally Novice (RN) title at the Fox River Field Spaniel Club specialty show.

TAXI—CH Calico’s Running Up The Fare CDX SH RE made it down to the final cut in Best of Breed competition and walked away with a JUDGE’S AWARD OF MERIT at the 2009 FSSA National specialty show!

August 8 & 9, 2009

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD GN RE earns another Senior Hunter leg to complete her Senior Hunter (SH) title.

BRETT—CH W-Haven’s MVP At Calico WD earns back-to-back legs in Junior to complete his Junior Hunter (JH) title by going 4 qualifications out of 4 attempts.

September 2009

BRETT—CH W-Haven’s MVP At Calico JH WD earns his first Senior Hunter leg on his first attempt!

CC—CH Calico's Undercover Agent RN AX AXJ AXP AJP has continued her winning ways in picking up the elusive AX title and more MACH points. Hopefully on to double Q’s in her future.

FLY—Calico’s Flying High picked up his last leg for the  Companion Dog (CD) title with some more nice placements.

October 2009

GIBSON—Calico’s Guitars N’ Cadillacs has been out and about in the hunting field and earned his Junior Hunter (JH) title handily, showing all of the style and speed we like in the field! (Gibson’s Clumber brother Watson also earned his JH title—CH Shogun’s The Good Doctor).   Gibson then moved up to Senior and earned his first Senior Hunter (SH) leg!

RITZ—CH Calico’s Puttin’ On The Ritz CD GN RE SH earns her qualification for the Field Spaniel Society of America, Inc. Working Dog Excellent certificate.

INDY—CH Tamarack’s Race You To Calico starts to heat up the rings with a Group 3 at the Springfield circuit!

GIBSON—Calico’s Guitars N’ Cadillacs went to Georgia lookin’ for chukar to steal...and he did earning his second  Senior Hunter (SH) leg!  Gibson’s Clumber brother Watson also a SH leg —CH Shogun’s The Good Doctor).

CC—CH Calico's Undercover Agent AX MXJ AXP AJP has continued her winning ways with her first Double Qs and points toward the elusive MACH title!
