Ritz is a perfect combination of beauty and brains. In 2008, at the FSSA National Ritz was High in Trial (HIT) as well as Best of Winners and still is the only field spaniel to hold such an honor. Ritz earned an All-Breed HIT out of the Novice B class at a very young age and continues her winning ways in obedience. Ritz is currently focusing on her Master Hunter (MH) title with 4 MH Legs (one more to earn the title). Ritz is shown occasionally in the breed ring and loves every minute of it.

Ritz was bred once to Major and on November 18, 2011 produced "Partner" and "Harry"

Here are a list of Ritz’s titles:

2009

Landwork

Hunt Dead
Handler has an idea of where the dead bird is located, but the object is to send the dog in a direction of where the bird might be and allow the dog to use their nose to find the bird. Ritz was sent downwind, so when she caught scent of the bird she knew right where it was.

Water Blind
Handler has an idea of where the dead bird is located, but the object is to send the dog in a direction of where the bird might be and allow the dog to use their nose to find the bird. The difference from the Hunt Dead and Water Blind is that the dog must take the water to and from to get the bird.

Water Retrieve
The dog must stay in place in a sitting position while the bird is launched into the water. The judge taps the handler to let them know when the handler can release the dog. This was Ritz's final thing to complete the "Q" for Master Hunter leg #3.

Here is Ritz on her way to MH Leg #4 on October 21, 2012 at the Fox River Field Spaniel Club Hunt Test
